Rock climbing levels
Level 1 : novice.
Level 2 : 5+
Level 3 : usual practice all the year (6a min) ;
Level 4 : very usual practice (3 times a week) (6 b min on lead, on sight).
Physical levels
Level 1 : Cool : you like walking : can walk 3 to 4 hours per day.
Level 2 : Good fit : pratice an endurance sport ; can walk 5 to 7 hours per day.
Level 3 : Very good fit : pratice an endurance sport regularly ; can walk 7 to 8 hours per day.
Level 4 : Optimal fit – frequent training – can walk more 10 hours per day.
SKI levels
Novice level: slightly speep slopes, stages of 3 à 5 hours, 500 to 700 m of variation in level per day. Red ski slopes level.
Discovering level: slopes up to 30° ; stages of 4 to 6 hours.
Medium level: slopes of 30 to 35° ; stages of 5 à 7 heures. Good skier able to use crampons and ice axes. Mastery of ski kickturn for up and down.
Expert level : slopes of 35° or more; stages of 1200 m of variation in level or more. Ski experience essential.
